Ducati Diavel new model

So-named reportedly because of a Ducati technician’s remark in Bolognese dialect ““Ignurànt comm’ Ducati Diavel” Part of that layout includes a huge 240-section rear tire hanging from the typical Ducati single-sided swingarm (albeit lengthened to accommodate the wider/taller rear tire and quicker accelerative characteristics).
The "Ducati Diavel" will also get the same technological advances as many of its 2011 models, including ABS, Ducati Traction Control, and Ducati Riding modes. Riding ergos are said to be more relaxed than the slightly forward-canted Monster positioning, although surely far from the usual cruiser genre riding setup considering Ducati’s performance heritage.

Among the latest motorcycle accessories, motorbike helmets and motorcycle clothing at the show will be the brand-new Ducati Diavel.

So named after the Bolgonese word for devil, the new bike has been tested in secret, with only the odd grainy spy photo to satisfy Ducati fans' curiosity.

The Ducati Diavel promises "to take the man-motorcycle relationship to the next level in absolute comfort", with stylish, original looks and all the latest technology, such as ABS and Ducati Traction Control.

According to Ducati, the Ducati Diavel will be powered by the Testatretta 11 degree engine and will be equipped with ABS, Ducati Traction Control, and Ducati Riding Modes. Ducati also claims the Diavel will weigh 456 pounds.
This dream comes true via using the local Bolognese dialect for "devil" in naming their new model the Ducati Diavel - pronounced Dee-ah-vel.
One person looking from the rear of the bike saw its silhouette and exclaimed in Bolognese dialect: "Ignurànt comm' al Ducati Diavel!" Ducati now makes the name official as it approaches the unveiling in Milan.
Ducati is proud to continue shaping the future of motorcycling while staying faithful to its Italian heritage.
